New shawl design!

My Burnt Sugar Shawl is now available on Ravelry. This shawl is worked sideways from one tip to the other. It features a diamond brocade texture as well as a lovely simple lace pattern. I used The Farmer's Daughter Fibers Foxy Lady fingering weight in Eagle Eye and Spring Fever colors. Those two colors together are the perfect pairing. The lightly speckled Spring Fever color was just gorgeous in the lace sections and the Eagle Eye color provided crisp stitch definition. The pattern includes both fully written and charted instructions. It is not a difficult knit, but the texture and lace do make it interesting. They both become quite intuitive and rhythmic once you get going.
