New Shawl Pattern
The Lizard Skin Shawl is knit from tip to tip. The shaping occurs by increasing along one side then decreasing up the other. It features a really interesting, allover textured stitch that resembles scales.
This shawl is the perfect project to pair with a gorgeous hand-dyed yarn. The yarn I used is The Woolen Rabbit Airy in Pussywillow colorway. The color has a rich depth and enhances the stitch pattern beautifully. Yet the variegation is subtle enough not to get lost in the stitch pattern, which would happen with a heavily variegated yarn.
