Working the lace section

This week, we will be taking on the lace section. For a beginner, lace knitting can seem quite daunting. However, not all lace is complicated. For example, the lace section in the Mykonos Wrap is actually very simple and perfectly suitable for a beginner. In fact, you could even watch TV while knitting this lace! Who would have thought that TV knitting and lace could be a possibility? It's true! Another plus is that this actually knits up quite quickly and you will really see your progress. You'll notice when you have knit a bit that the lace is compressed and not very open and mesh-like. That will come after blocking, which we will be discussing next time... Until then, happy knitting!
