New pattern available on Ravelry.
This versatile headband is the perfect accessory to keep those ears toasty warm whether you are just going for a walk in cooler weather and need to keep the nip off your ears or are more active during the winter.
I run and cross country ski during the winter months and wearing a hat becomes too hot for me. I find the headband is the perfect solution and I use mine all the time. It's one of my most worn knitted items!
Plus, it's reversible so you can keep one side nice and simple and go wild and colorful on the other side!
These also knit up quickly and make great gifts. I made several for family and friends this past Christmas.
The Reversible Headband is worked in the round starting with a provisional cast on directly onto your needles. First the inner contrast color section is worked, then the main color section. Last, the two ends of the headband are grafted together using Kitchener stitch.
The yarn I used is Madelintetosh Tosh DK. For the yellow headband I used Chamomile and Cosmic Wonder Dust and for the black one I used Onyx and Found Pottery.
